Experienced F/T Insurance Producer/CSR Wanted. Must have an active Property Casualty license that is in good standing with Ohio.

Selling insurance products to potential policy holders, helping maintain the current book of business, answering the phone.

Hours are 9-5, M-F. No nights, no weekends.  Five paid vacation days earned after the first 6th months of employment.  Advance notice is required before taking a vacation day with no less than 2 days notice.  There are no benefits including no health insurance.  The premises in non-smoking.

The insurance producer position requires the job applicant have exceptional interpersonal skills, is enthusiastic, disciplined, confident, diligent, willing and able to solve problems, investigate issues, pay close attention to detail and take exceptional notes, multi-task, work independently without much supervision in a small friendly office environment, and must have good time-management skills coupled with the initiative to locate new policy holders and the ability to maintain current. 

Required traits for success in this position are also having exceptional listening skills and the ability to think creatively about solutions to problems.  

The insurance industry requires constant learning and the job candidate needs to have a sincere willingness to learn and take pro-active steps to do so.  

Insurance policies are contractual agreements so this position requires an understanding of them and the continual amendments to them.  

The job candidate must maintain a clean, professional looking office.  Attendance and timeliness are crucial because of the small office staff size.

The new hire will have their own individual office. There will not be a sales quota to be held accountable for as long as the new hire is diligently working toward bringing in new business while doing an excellent job maintaining existing insureds.  We work for them & not the other way around!
